Abbott Tyrex 2 Amino Acid-Modified Medical Food provides support of children and adults with tyrosinemia types I, II, and III. It is phenylalanine and tyrosine-free to allow greater intake of intact . It contains L-carnitine (40mg/100gm) and taurine (50mg/100gm), to supply amounts normally found in foods of animal origin.
